What will I do to make the Sidekick LX web browsing and IM features work in the Philippines?
I really want a Sidekick LX but i live in the Philippines. I heard that even if the phone is already unlocked, the web browsing and IM features won't work here in the Philippines. Can anyone please, please, please tell me how to make it work. Thanks. =)

Does the blackberry 8703e work in the Philippines?
I am selling cell phones and someone is interested in buying one from the Philippines, Does it work there or not?

You would have to unlock your phone, and have some sort of global roaming but it should work since that phone is a CDMA phone and the Philippines uses CDMA.

Will an iphone work in the Philippines?
I am planning a trip to the Philippines. I am wondering if I can use my iphone in the Philippines? Will there be an extra cost? Will the internet work?

Best plan on buying a phone there. The pawn shops are full of them. $10 up for a good one. Buy a phone card and you are set. Has any min. on it when you leave give it to some one there you met.

Your Iphone will charge you $3.50 us per minute in the Philippines. Buy a cheap local phone ($10.00 us and up) and use it. You can buy loads for it for very cheap also. I would even buy loads to phone home as the rate is much cheaper than your Iphone would charge you from there. Enjoy your trip, The Philippines is a great place :-) Rick

It'll work but you'd end up paying hefty roaming charges if you are using your home country SIM card/Number. The better option would be to buy a local SIM card from Philippines and use it. But make sure that pre-paid sim card let you use Data so the internet works without any problems.

I have an unlocked sidekick 3 and it is tri-band. Will this work in the Philippines? I heard Philippines is 900/1800 and my sidekick 3 is 850/1800/1900. Please help.
