It might work but it will be dongdistance charges.

Depends on your phone plan! If vodaphone has coverage there, you should not be charged any extra. If you don't have coverage there on your plan, you will be charged roaming fees, but you should still have coverage. (Phone service)

Ask your mobile operator whether they have any roaming service so it can be worked in phillipine also... Because am using a World Roaming Sim and its working for all over the country... i dono about Vodafone!! just try with ur operator...

i would like to live and work in the philippines i am about to marry a philippino woman?
If Farrah and i get married what is the process for me geting a work visa..ohh also i am under the mental health act in England due to MENTAL HEALTH DISORDER CALLED SCHITZOPHRENIA. would they refuse me a visa because of the or would they request and require if given entry i have suitable health insurance. and other comments on this subject or advise whould be very much appreciated thank you.

Why expose youself to scrutiny. In the Philippines, mental health is taken lightly. If you could pretend and act as normal, never divulge your weaknesses. Just control your mind and action like a normal person. and you will be all right.

There are thousands of college grads out looking for work and no jobs. Forget it. Check with your Dr about this.

i am not sure but..... verizon and vodafone are partners so if it dosen't have varizon than can have vodafone .....dont know really..well but this is something to think about.
2 :
If Verizon has a 'paired' network in the Philippines then it'll work. All you need to do is to ask Verizon to have it on 'roaming' (normally if you are on PAYG or Prepaid, then it wont be on roaming). Then, after getting it on roaming you can go to the Philippines and you'd be paired with Verizon's paired network (Smart Wireless, Globe Telecom, Sun Cellular or Red Mobile). Just make sure you're prepared to pay the price cause roaming is pretty expensive! To know more, contact your Network Service (Verizon, is it?).
