If I bought an iPod at the US, will it work at the Philippines/Overseas?
I was going to buy it for my brother but he's in the Philippines... If I buy it here, will it work there:

It will work as long as he has a means to charge it. The USB to computer connection isn't the idea means, but it'll work. That is, assuming he has access to a computer. If not, he won't be able to put content on the device, which would make it pretty much useless to him.

if i buy a samsung phone in the philippines, will it work in south korea?
I want to buy the Samsung Omnia II here in the Philippines but I'm not sure if it would work in a Korean sim card.. Can anyone confirm if it would work? Thanks! :)

Yes, it will work but all your callers will speak Tagalog, not Korean. haha! .

It won't work. Korea uses CDMA network and not GSM, they also don't use sim cards. Samsung mobile phones in the Philippines use GSM.

If I buy a HP laptop in Australia, will it work properly in the Philippines

If I buy a HP laptop in Australia, will it work properly in the Philippines?
I'm wondering if the laptop will work properly even though it is in a different temperature. Sine Australia is somewhat cold and the is so freakin Hot. I don't want to buy a laptop here in the Philippines because the technologies here are so limited.So please help me!

HP Laptops are the same design anywhere in the world. The only thing you need to check is the power adapter plug and local voltage. If the local voltage is 110 or 220 then you should be fine.
