All plug-ins would work, as long as it is 220V.
2 :
The power output in the Philippines is 220, US appliances run on 110. Better have a portable step-down transformer handy if your digicam runs on 110.
3 :
If your battery charger can accept 220V 60Hz (which most can; it should say somewhere on the device), you should be fine. (Usually, it will say 110V-240V or something like that on the label.) Most of the Philippines uses the two flat prong outlets, which fit US-style two-prong plugs without the need for an adapter. If your device has a three-prong plug (the two flat blades plus a grounder) you will need to get an adapter.

they will burn out real fast, we have 220 voltage in the Philippines, believe me I have got lots of experience with this.
5 :
some socket for the plugs in hotels in Manila doesn't work for square or round end plugs. I reccommend you bring an adaptor or buy one from any hardware (Ace Hardware preferably, located at most SM Malls). Cost os 20-50 pesos. see this picture: http://img.alibaba.com/photo/202057118/Travel_Power_Adaptor_Socket_Plug.summ.jpg

i live in antipolo and just like any city or town in the philippines we have the same power output , buy first an adaptor and if your charger would be able to plug into a 220 v 60 hz power ( see the specs on your plug) then it will work out fine , btw outlets are configured similar to this I I ....

Will my sat nav work in Philippines

Will my sat nav work in Philippines?
I brought my garmin sat nav unit from Australia to The Philippines (visaya region) and it's not finding any satellites. Will it work here? I don't have any Phils maps, but I was thinking it would still find some satellites and I could just add locations? Thanks

There is no reason for it not to work. Older models sometimes have problems finding satelites unless you tell them roughly where you are. The unit may need to be initialised with an approximate location. Also, need to make sure that you have a clear view of a lot of the sky. Older models also do not work well in urban surroundings.
2 :
You didn't say what country your in, but most likely, you will have to buy the maps from Garmin, and download them onto your unit. Also, you may have to get a memory card to load them on.
3 :
If you can live with plus or minus 3 miles. go for it. There simply is not enough satelite footprints here in the Philippines.
4 :
I'm not sure if its just my phone, but my phones map is about half a kilometer off sometimes. Still, electronic street maps are useful with easy search. You just have to know where you are on it and you can find that out the old fashioned way. By asking!

It will work, just go to GREENHILLS. There's a large cellphone-and-gadget area there. They will 'open' the unit for you...meaning they will have it ready for use in the PH. That place is in Quezon City. Go with a friend to make sure you land in a good 'service booth'
