The region for the disks would be different so would the plug in

If you get a voltage converter it should work in America, but since the games are region locked you wouldn't be able to buy any games here, you would need to import them all from the Philippines, which would be very expensive.

haha im not to sure bout tht but im sure its cheaper there

If you have a plug in converter and the game discs are from the region your xbox is you can play it, but new games bought in the US won´t work.

I have an old unlocked Nokia mobile phone and I want to send it my cousin in the Philippines. Will it work

I have an old unlocked Nokia mobile phone and I want to send it my cousin in the Philippines. Will it work?
I bought this phone off eBay some time ago, and it is unlocked. What I want to know is, will this phone be compatible on their network? Does it have some chip in it that will only permit it to be used in Australia, or can they bung a simcard in and away the go?

yes it will work

Mark is right. As long as the phone is actually unlocked, the end user in the Phillipines can purchase a SIM card through a service provider there and use the phone. Your cousin will also likely need to either buy an adapter for the electrical plug on the charger or get a charger there as well.

in the case of phones with prepaid sim, YES.. once you bought it you can immediately use it as long as there is a prepaid credit. no paperworks needed. not like in other countries that you still need some papers(passport) to buy a prepaid sim, in the philippines that is not the case. buying a sim card is as easy as buying a candy and only cost you more or less, 1USD.

almost all cell phones are prepaid here. a load is when you buy credits for the phone. yes, you can use it right after you buy it. since it is prepaid there is no credit check and no need for identification when purchasing. the only paperwork would be the warranty info for the phone you buy and instructions on using it.... things like that.

At the airport upon arrival, there are agents of the Network companies selling SIM cards with prepaid loads. You only need to present the payment. How do they work? Dial your desired number and when the receiver answers, start talking.

If you already own a Cellphone, make sure that it is suited for local use. Meaning it should be Open Lined, and capable of handling GSM 900 /1800 Frequency. If your phone is capable then just go to any flea market inside malls then purchase a Pre-Paid SIM card then viola. Don't forget to buy loads... No paper works needed.
