You need a visa that allows you to work. This is nearly impossible to get. If you're married to a Filipino you can get a permanent resident card which will allow you to work...assuming you can find a job which millions upon millions of Filipinos can't.

Will I need a outlet converter or anything for my electronics to work in the Philippines?
I'm traveling to Manila soon and was wondering if anyone knows if I'll be able to plug my eletronics into outlets without incident. Things like a battery chargers, etc. Thanks for your help :)

Bring a converter. They use 220 Voltage in P.I.

yup! you may need to bring an adaptor or converter because in the Philippines we use 220 voltage. Better be sure. ^_^ way to go!

Check your electronics to see if they will work on 220 volts -some do some do not. Wait until you get here as there are many many converters for sale. Welcome to the Philippines.

Depends where you are coming from, you might need a plug adaptor or a voltage converter. But I can describe what they have in the Philippines so you can compare. will t-mobile blackberry 8520 work in the philippines?
im planning to go to the philipppines on july and i want to take my tmobile blackberry 8520 there.. im wondering if it will work in any sim card without unlocking it? and its quad band....

I have a PS3 i bought from Korea that I use in the philippines, If I buy the PLay TV decoder and peripherals will it work in the philippines?
