As a College Grad, Is it still viable to work in Philippines as compared to our neighboring Asian Countries
As a College Grad, Is it still viable to work in Philippines as compared to our neighboring Asian Countries?
Does working in the Philippines as a professional or college grad commensurate with its salary pay as compared to our Asian neighboring countries?

Jobs are tough in the P.I... and usually you have to know people to get a good job... Everyone is fighting for a job

If you can find one, that would be great. Working in other countries is not a pleasant as advertised. Prepare for all the hustle like racial discrimination, resentment, and adaptability to the new surroundings and cultures. Money-wise, it doesn't commensurate but money is not everything in life. Happiness, peace of mind and comfort is priceless. I work and live abroad and if given a choice, I prefer to be in my home country where I understand the culture than to learn and adapt to it. The reason why I am coming back as soon as necessary.

Depending on what it is,there should not be a problem, There are businesses like the hotel business which have people working from many different countries. Then you have talented people who go there and take advantage the opportunities that exist there. The people have been so long that they can't see the opportunities that exist there. That is why you have businesses like McDonald's and Dunkin Donuts. Then there was the two Filipino's who found an opportunity and brought computer cafe's there. Which have turn into one of the best business there.

can 1100nokia phone from philippines work abroad
can 1100nokia phone from philippines work abroad?
my flight is on july1,Im looking for a cheap not colored nokia phone i can bring on my flight i can use to send sms and call,my route is from philippines to kualalumpur malaysia to stockholm sweden,can i contact my bf in sweden ?pls help me..

It should. Just don't forget to activate international roaming. Check which one of the communications provider here has roaming services and what type and the most competitive rates in your destination.

No. You will need a tri-band or quad-band phone and roam your Sim before leaving Phils. The Nokia 1100 is dual band and yes, they have them in other countries but the frequencies are different. Likewise if you bring a Nokia 1100 from abroad it probably will not work in Phils. You should be able to find a cheap tri-band phone easily enough just check the sticker in the battery compartment for the frequencies.

If I buy a wii from Singapore, will games from the Philippines work?
I'm planning to buy the Wii fit too. How much do they sell the Wii & Wii Fit in S'pore?(please no online shopping) Thanks! :)

The Philippines use mostly NTSC format while Singapore uses PAL format. The two are not compatible and you need to find a PAL region disc (it would say it on the box). Or use Datel's freeloader for Wii.
