The only time a magic jack would work in the Philippines is if they have a high speed internet otherwise you will get a jamming connection.

Magic Jack works fine in the Philippines anywhere that you have reasonable internet connection speed (like SmartBro). I know many people using Magic Jack. They are even being sold here in the Philippines (at a ridiculous markup from the US price ;-)

im here in manila and we do have magic jack and we're using it almost everyday... our internet connection: smart broadband
