A trend now is risk going to a country that you want to work in as a tourist and look for a job while you are there. I have friends who have been successful in doing this. While it is very risky to spend a lot of money and cannot be guaranteed that you can find a job before your tourist visa expires, it also has its advantages. First, you don't have to go through all the red tape in our country. You don't have to wait a long time since you are applying personally to companies abroad. And more importantly, you have more choices and you can see for yourself your place of employment. A lot of people I know working abroad are not happy with their employers so it's much better to see for yourself the company before signing a contract. Most companies abroad who hire diverse nationalities are more than willing to help in the processing of documents to transfer your status from tourist to working visa. If you plan to do this, find a friend in that country and ask for his help on your travel plans. Always be safe and good luck =)
